Hiredly Resume Workshop Equips Students for Career Success

On 15 June 2026, the Student Services Department, in collaboration with Hiredly, organised a resume workshop that provided students with practical insights into recruitment trends, employer expectations, and professional branding in today’s competitive job market. Led by Ms. Joselyn Lau, Vice President, People & Culture at Hiredly, the session offered valuable guidance on preparing for future career opportunities.
Students learned how to create ATS-friendly resumes, tailor applications to specific roles, strengthen their LinkedIn profiles, and build a professional online presence. The workshop also introduced participants to Hiredly’s HiResume Builder platform while providing valuable insights into internships, graduate employment, and current hiring practices.
Students shared that the session helped them better understand how recruiters evaluate applications and how to present their strengths more effectively. The workshop reflects First City University College’s commitment to enhancing students’ employability and preparing them with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their future careers.
