IAD LECTURE SERIES 2025 KICKS OFF WITH INDUSTRY EXPERTS

The IAD Lecture Series 2025 took place on 5th March 2025, offering students from BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design (BIAD) and Diploma in Interior Design (DID) valuable industry insights.

The lecture featured IDr Jim Lee, Head of Design & Tenancy Fit-out at Capitaland Investment, who presented “From Concept to Creations: Bringing Ideas to Life.” He shared expertise in transforming design concepts into reality. Mr. Low Chin Loon from TopMix Resources Sdn Bhd introduced sustainable interior solutions in “Aesthetic Green Living with TOPMIX Surface Materials.” His session highlighted eco-friendly design approaches and innovative materials.

Reflecting on the session, Desmond Saw Wei Zheng from BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design (BIAD) noted “The lecture was informative and engaging. The lecturer was knowledgeable and approachable. Overall, I think it was a valuable learning experience for us.”

The lecture strengthened students’ understanding of industry trends, bridging theory with real-world applications. Learning from professionals enhanced their design perspectives, preparing them for future careers.
