On 6 August 2024, the IAD Club hosted the “ID Mentorship Talk” featuring guest speaker Mr. Ed Mun.

Mr. Ed Mun delivered an insightful talk on ID mentorship and the “No Free Design Movement,” explaining the importance of valuing design work and maintaining a strong professional stance in the industry. The session included a Q&A segment, allowing attendees to engage directly with Mr. Mun and explore the topics in greater depth.

Lim Xin Ci expressed appreciation, saying, “Through this lecture, I learned that we must have a strong attitude as a designer in the design industry and say no to free designs.” Kuan Ern Qi added, “Through this lecture, I think that we must have more confidence in ourselves and say no to free designs.”

The event was well-received and provided valuable insights for future professionals in the field of interior design.
