Industry Workshop on Artificial Intelligence Driven Decision Making

The Faculty of Computer Science and Technology organised a workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence Driven Decision Making: Predicting Real World Data with Fuzzy Logic and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution” on 4 March 2026 at IT Centre Lab 10, First City University College. The session was conducted by Dr. Mohd Ridhwan Hilmi Bin Mohd Adnan and introduced students to artificial intelligence methods used in decision making, focusing on Fuzzy Logic and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution.

During the workshop, students explored how fuzzy modelling can handle uncertainty in real world data and support more accurate decision making. The session also included hands on activities using MATLAB, where participants applied Fuzzy Logic and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution to analyse datasets and improve prediction outcomes.

The workshop concluded with an interactive discussion session, allowing students to further explore how these techniques can be applied to research work and final year projects, while gaining deeper insight into practical artificial intelligence applications.
