Innovation Day 2026 Showcases Future-Ready Student Innovations

On 12 August 2026, the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology organised Innovation Day 2026, showcasing 32 innovative projects developed by students and academic staff. Centred on the theme “Empowering Malaysia’s Digital Future through Sustainable Innovation”, the event demonstrated how project-based learning enables students to transform classroom knowledge into practical solutions while exploring AI, digital technologies and sustainability.

Industry professionals served as judges, providing valuable feedback and giving students meaningful exposure to industry expectations and potential career opportunities. The event also recognised outstanding projects across Final Year Project, Mini Project and Project-Based Learning categories.
