HEAD OF MARKETING & CORPORATE COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT
Job Descriptions:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing, student recruitment, and corporate communication strategies to achieve institutional goals.
- Drive initiatives to attract and enroll a diverse and talented student population through targeted outreach, partnerships, and innovative recruitment strategies.
- Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote the university’s programmes and events.
- Oversee internal and external communication efforts to enhance the institution’s reputation and maintain consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Strengthen and maintain the institution’s brand identity, ensuring it resonates with prospective students, parents, alumni, and partners.
- Conduct market research and analysis, and provide relevant marketing insights, including customer behaviour and competitor activity to enable effective brand development, portfolio development, benchmarking and pricing strategy to improve student recruitment.
- Utilize digital marketing tools and data analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and refine strategies accordingly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including schools, media, alumni, industry partners, vendors, advertising agencies, student recruitment agents and the broader community.
- Manage and inspire a team of marketing, recruitment, and communication professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Oversee departmental budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources to maximize impact and ROI.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a degree in Marketing or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of working experience in the Higher Education industry, including at least two years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and recruitment strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Expertise in digital marketing, social media, content creation, and data analytics.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Knowledge of design software (Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator) is an advantage.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Proven time management skills in handling multiple projects.
- High initiative and able to work independently.
