Job Descriptions:

1. Responsible for the teaching and learning aspects of the subjects including, but not limited to, teaching materials, preparing assessments, setting examination questions and papers, marking examination scripts and other associated projects that relate to the subjects being offered.
2. Review, update and develop lesson plans, schemes of work, lectures/practicals, tutorials, assignments, and class discussions in compliance with the syllabus and curriculum.
3. Implement Outcome Based Education, including Programme Learning Outcomes and Course Learning Outcomes and perform PLO-CLO measurement analysis for each module.
4. Conduct research and publish research works in Indexed Journals.
5. Initiate small group tutorials for students in need.
6. Nurture student talents and potential through extracurricular activities.
7. Undertake and contribute to administrative responsibilities.
8. Participate in continuous relevant professional activities.
9. Perform any other tasks that might be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
2. Candidates with PhDs are preferred. Fresh graduates with PhDs are also encouraged to apply.
3. Candidate with professional certification(s) will have an added advantage.
4. At least 5 years of lecturing experience in computing-related programmes in tertiary education. Relevant industrial experience in the IT industry is considered an added value.
5. Experience in academic programme management and familiarity with MQA requirements and documentation will be an advantage.
6. Candidates with knowledge and skills in computer science courses, specializing in subjects related to Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things, Natural Language Processing, and Software Engineering, are preferred.
7. Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies in facilitating teaching and learning.
8. Possess good written and spoken communication skills in English.
9. Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
10. Able to work independently.
