Lol, Swipe And Post – Igniting Creativity In Mass Communication

The Ultimate Challenge Mass Communications Workshop brought a burst of energy and creativity to First City University College on 13 September 2025. Twenty students from SMK Methodist ACS Kampar joined lecturers and student helpers for a hands-on session that blended learning with fun.

Participants dived into the TikTok Video Challenge and Meme-Making Activity, forming teams to brainstorm, script, and produce engaging digital content. The room buzzed with laughter, teamwork, and creativity as students experimented with storytelling, humour, and visual expression. Beyond entertainment, the activities offered practical insights into content creation, collaboration, and digital communication strategies.

The workshop wrapped up with a showcase session, where selected projects were presented and feedback shared. Navin Kumar, lecturer, commented, “It was inspiring to see students channel their energy and creativity into meaningful learning.” The session left participants motivated, confident, and eager to explore the possibilities of Mass Communication.
