Making Inferences – Solve the Mystery” Mini Workshop

On 4 February 2026 and 24 February 2026, the Centre of Language and Extension Services conducted an in class mini workshop titled “Making Inferences: Solve the Mystery”.

Students were introduced to the concept of making inferences, with emphasis on identifying contextual clues, interpreting details and drawing logical conclusions based on evidence. Each group examined the clues, discussed possible explanations and developed conclusions supported by clear reasoning.

The activity effectively combined reading comprehension, reasoning and oral communication, highlighting the value of interactive, problem based learning in enhancing student engagement.
