MDM Symposium 2026 Explores the Power of Purposeful Design

The Master of Design Management programme at First City University College hosted the “Purpose by Design” Research Symposium on 23 September 2026, bringing together students, alumni, academics and industry professionals to explore how design management can create meaningful social, environmental and organisational impact.

Through a keynote presentation, alumni sharing and panel discussion, participants gained perspectives on the evolving role of design professionals in addressing real-world challenges and translating purpose into responsible strategies and positive change. The symposium also created opportunities for the postgraduate community and industry to exchange ideas and build connections.
