ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR JANUARY 2025 INTAKE

First City University College welcomed new students to the January 2025 intake with an engaging orientation programme held on 13 January 2025 at the Student Services Lounge.

The programme began with welcome addresses from Head of Student Services Weladavi Rahula and the Deans of various faculties: Assistant Professor Chua Huwi Huwi of the Faculty of Design & Built Environment, Ms. Komlavathi A/P Subramaniam of the Faculty of Business, Hospitality & Communication, and Assistant Professor David Foo Sek Kuan of the Faculty of Computer Science & Technology.

Adding a lively touch to the event were two captivating performances: a cheerleading routine by Team Inferno under the sports regimen, and a drum performance by the Chinese Cultural Club. These performances were supported by the Performing Arts Club and Youth Club.

The programme continued with an address by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Saw Sor Heoh, who warmly welcomed the new intake, followed by a group photograph featuring students, deans, and heads of departments.

The orientation concluded with a guided campus tour and an interactive session with the Student Council, providing students with opportunities to connect with peers, seek guidance, and gain valuable insights into university life.
