PETALING JAYA, 5th October 2018 – EXIM Bank, which specializes in export and import financing in one of their Corporate Responsibility (CR) initiatives, proudly presented 140 copies of books titled “Exporting and International Trade”, written by a prolific author, AB Yeoh to First City University College. Out of the 140 copies, 100 of them were in English, while the respective balance of twenty copies each were in Malay language and Mandarin. Participating in the book presentation ceremony were Management and staff of First City University College.

Tan Sri Dato (Dr) Teo Chiang Liang, Director of First City University College in his opening speech acknowledged the importance of International Trade as one of the contributing factors that shapes Malaysian economy. He further expressed his appreciation to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EXIM Bank, Norzilah Mohammed for supporting AB Teoh’s idea of complimenting First City University College with a huge number of copies of his book that would be useful for the reference of students, especially those pursuing in Business Management and Internal Business studies.

“The books will be placed in our library for students and staff of First City University College and I will be the first person to borrow the book”, Tan Sri Dato (Dr) Teo added at the ceremony. He continued by saying EXIM Bank had taken the correct step by coming out with such CR Programme to educate the business community and the public at large on all aspects of International Trade.

The CEO of EXIM Bank, Norzilah Mohammed in her speech acknowledged both the importance of sharing useful information on International Trade and its importance to the economy. Her Organization is also active in carrying out CR programmes throughout the year by providing aid and support in education initiatives including for higher-learning institutions in Malaysia.

“Exporting and International Trade” is AB Teoh’s second book on the subject of International Trade. Teoh who is also a lecturer and trainer has more than 25 years of experience in the industry. His “The 12 Steps to Successful Exporting” method was also produced for Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).

Dr Sheila Cheng, Dean of Faculty of Business, Hospitality and Communication Studies at First City University College in a statement said, the information obtained from the book would definitely help the students to expand their knowledge on International Trade.
