Participating in the National STEM Expo 2026

The Faculty of Computer Science and Technology participated in the National STEM Expo 2026 at KL Gateway Mall, Kuala Lumpur on 11 February 2026.
The exhibition featured projects related to ecosystems, sustainable agriculture, and applied technology. Booths demonstrated hydroponic systems that enable plants to grow efficiently without large areas of land. Students also showcased Internet of Things applications using Arduino, including a solar powered recharging port and a soil humidity monitoring system to support healthier plant growth.
The expo also included architecture and engineering displays that explained how design can improve wind resistance, efficiency, and overall material performance. Basic programming booths introduced coding to younger students in a simple and engaging manner. Various engineering projects further illustrated how STEM concepts can be applied in real life.
The expo was a meaningful experience that provided new insights and reinforced the value of innovation in today’s world.
