
This programme prepares students for undergraduate degree studies in Engineering or Computing. It consists of three pathways: Engineering, Computing & Science.
On successful completion of the programme, graduates of the foundation programme should demonstrate the following attributes:
- Understanding and application of basic principles of engineering, science and technology
- Ability to communicate accurately and reliably by written and oral means
- Ability to use techniques, skills and appropriate tools for engineering, science and technology practices
- Appreciation and awareness of professional and ethical responsibility
- Knowledge and ability to execute effectively a series of experiment, projects and other coursework with the safe use of computer technology (software and hardware), laboratory, workshop and other equipment

- Minimum 5 credits (including of English and Mathematics) and including Physics for progression to Engineering Degrees
- Minimum 5 credits (including of English and Mathematics) and including credit in Additional Mathematics or credit in Mathematics and Science/Technology/Engineering subjects for progression to Software Engineering or Computer Science Degrees
- Minimum 5 credits (including of English and Mathematics) for progression to Information Systems or Information Technology Degrees
Minimum 4Bs (including English and Mathematics)
Minimum 5 credits (including English and Mathematics)
Other equivalent qualifications which are recognized by the Malaysian government
