Road to Shine – Inspiration Talk Series Episode 1 featuring Man Yuet Thun

The Faculty of Design and Built Environment hosted the first session of the Road to Shine – Inspiration Talk Series on 4 March 2026 at the Lecture Hall, Center for Postgraduate Studies, First City University College. The session welcomed alumna Man Yuet Thung, Silver Award winner of AYDA 2024 in Interior Design and recipient of the Best Colour Choice Award.

Yuet Thung shared insights into the project that earned her national recognition, discussing her conceptual development, research process, and strategies that strengthened her final presentation. She also offered practical advice on refining design narratives, structuring presentation boards, and delivering confident critiques — valuable guidance for students preparing for academic assessments and competitions.

The session concluded with an engaging question and answer segment, where students actively posed questions to gain deeper understanding and prepare for future design challenges.
