The Design Club Visit to Vivar Printing Brings Design to Life

On 25 June 2026, The Design Club of the Faculty of Design & Built Environment organised an educational visit to Vivar Printing Sdn. Bhd., giving students first-hand exposure to professional printing and publishing processes. The industrial visit enabled students to see how creative ideas are transformed into high-quality printed products, bridging classroom learning with industry practice.

Students toured the production facilities, explored printing technologies, and learned about paper selection, colour management, finishing techniques, and artwork preparation. The experience provided valuable insights into industry standards while reinforcing the importance of precision and quality in print production.

The visit strengthened students’ understanding of commercial printing and inspired them to apply professional production knowledge to future design projects, reflecting First City University College’s commitment to industry-relevant and experiential learning.
