On 31 January 2024, 10 students from BA (Honours) in Graphic Design programme accompanied by faculty member Hafeezah Mastura, embarked on a field trip to PTM Water System Sdn Bhd in Balakong, Selangor. This visit was part of an industrial collaboration between the company and the academic programme, with the students tasked with creating a promotional video for PTM Water System.

The primary objective of the trip was to provide students with firsthand knowledge of the company’s operations, particularly its specialization in trading industrial hardware and construction materials, including stainless steel products.

Through presentations and site tours, students learned about the applications and properties of stainless steel, which would inform their creative process in developing the promotional video. A Q&A session was carried out where students had the opportunity to interact with company representatives and gained deeper understanding.

This field trip not only equipped students with practical insights beyond traditional classroom learning but also cultivated a positive relationship with PTM Water System.
