2024 年 6 月 7 日，平面设计文凭课程第四学期的八名学生参观了皇家雪兰莪游客中心。此次参观的目的是为重新设计该中心的新宣传册收集视觉材料，这也是他们本学期课程作业的一个重要项目。 在两个小时的参观过程中，学生们有机会捕捉到锡镴古董、历史文献和展示公司发展历程的互动展品的图片。他们还在导游的带领下参观了锡镴的生产过程，亲眼目睹了将原材料转化为精美锡镴制品的过程。其中包括观察铸造、抛光和雕刻等传统工艺，为了解皇家雪兰莪的精细工艺提供了宝贵的资料。 此外，学生们还参观了工厂车间，观察熟练工匠的工作。这让他们对锡器制造的专注和精确有了更深刻的认识。 这次参观丰富了学生们的教育体验，使他们更加尊重马来西亚的传统和手工艺。这次参观提供了一个实际动手的学习机会，增强了他们对设计原理和文化叙事的理解，与他们的学术追求完美契合。
