Teh Chia Li, our licensed and registered counsellor from Student Services Department, orchestrated a powerful and inspiring morning for the Form 5 students at SMK Bandar Utama Damansara 4 with her motivational talk titled “Self-Motivation & Exam Preparation.”

Chia Li’s engaging session, held on 1 December 2023, left a lasting impact on 86 students and 4 staff members, resonating with its purpose to gear up the students for their impending SPM exams in January 2024.

Chia Li’s talk was a holistic journey, encompassing various essential facets. She commenced the session with an interactive game, setting a vibrant tone for the day. Delving into the core, she adeptly psych educated the students about self-care, imparting invaluable tips on managing life challenges, advocating practices like journaling, deep breathing, and establishing personal boundaries.

The session’s dynamism soared with a stimulating activity, prompting students to share motivational quotes, fostering camaraderie and support among peers. As the session drew to a close, the platform was open for students to reflect and share their gleanings from the talk.
