FIRST CITY UNIVERSITY COLLEGE WELCOMES THE 2025/2026 STUDENT COUNCIL


First City University College officially inaugurated the Student Council 2025/2026, marking a new chapter of student leadership and representation. The event also served as a moment of appreciation for the outgoing Student Council 2024/2025, recognising their dedication and contributions to enhancing student life on campus.
The new Student Council will be led by President Keisy Yap Kah Hei, alongside Ng Chuan Yuan (Vice President), Goh En Qi (Secretary), Persis Tan (Vice Secretary), Pua Yong Han (Treasurer), Aisha Eena Ahned Shany (Head of Culture and Welfare), Amna Malik (Head of International Students), Liew Bor Jhy (Head of Talent), and Daniel Tan (Head of Leadership and Career Development). Together, they are committed to fostering a vibrant and inclusive campus environment, advocating for student interests, and organising impactful initiatives throughout the academic year.
“I believe that listening, learning, and communicating help us become better individuals. I always strive to do my best, and I believe that paying attention to details leads to success,” shared Keisy Yap Kah Hei, the President of the Student Council for 2025/2026.
During the ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Saw Sor Heoh presented Certificates of Appreciation to the outgoing council members and Appointment Letters to the newly elected representatives. The event concluded with the Student Council pledge, symbolising their dedication to serving the student body.
With fresh ideas and enthusiasm, the Student Council 2025/2026 is ready to embark on their leadership journey, continuing First City University College’s tradition of student empowerment and engagement.
