On 26 April 2024, First City University College welcomed a distinguished guest, His Excellency Morecome Mumba, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Zambia, to its campus in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya.

Upon his arrival, His Excellency was warmly greeted by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Saw Sor Heoh, Head of Student Services Weladavi Rahula, and Senior Lecturer Assistant Prof Dr Vincent Wee from the Faculty of Business, Hospitality, and Communication.

During his visit, His Excellency was given a comprehensive tour of the campus, with notable stops including the Faculty of Design & Built Environment. Of particular interest to His Excellency was the Fashion Marketing programme at First City University College, demonstrating his keen attention to academic offerings and industry relevance.

The visit of His Excellency Morecome Mumba underscores the university college’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and engaging with esteemed leaders locally and internationally.
