万达大学学院修读平面设计（荣誉）学士学位课程的学生于2026年4月8日参访马来西亚设计档案馆（Malaysia Design Archive），作为视觉文化与自主研究课程的一部分学习活动。 通过专题讲解与档案资料的深入探索，学生对马来西亚视觉文化有了更全面的认识，并理解设计如何反映社会、政治与文化背景。课程引导学生从美学之外进行思考，强调设计不仅是视觉呈现，更是叙事与身份表达的重要工具。 学生普遍认为此次参访富有启发性。Ng Ji Fung 表示，这次体验加深了他对本地设计遗产的欣赏，并激发他在未来作品中融入文化身份元素。Winnie Gwee Shi Nee 则指出，历史设计展示了过去如何持续影响当代设计发展。 本次参访有效提升了学生的批判性思维与创意思维，进一步支持他们成长为具备文化意识与深度思考能力的设计人才。
